Staff Sergeant Drew Dennis Dix was given the medal of honor because of what he did.
He has save a lot of people. Staff Sergeant Drew Dennis Dix in 31 January and 1 February 1968 When two heavily armed Viet Cong battalions attacked the capital on 31 January 1968 and defenses broke down. He then had led other force that rescued eight civilian employees trapped in a building under heavy mortal and small arms fire.
Drew D. Dix also, had captured 20 prisoners having high ranking .
Sergeant Dix continued his attack and rescued Deputy Province Chief’s wife and children. He had help and got the medal of honor and became a hero .
